Carburetor Restoration Services
Expert MA RI motorcycle carburetor restoration services:
Doug's Cycle Barn offers restoration services for your existing carburetor. The level and quality of carburetor restoration (checking for damage or wear & cleaning the carburetor) depends on the condition of the throttle/slide area and mounting flanges. Upon inspection and cleaning, we can determine if the carburetor can be restored.
During inspection and disassembly of carburetor and its components, problems can arise - such as broken items, damaged screw heads, or snapped off studs. While broken items might be replaced, other issues may require alternative solutions.
It is common for the outside of the carburetor (especially older types) to be stained with petrol. Staining is removed by different vapor blasting & ultrasonic cleaning methods.
